We have always had cats and for years Shreen Vets was our place to go. Prior to being Shreen Vets it was Edwards and Jose it was independent; now it's a name under a large group. The care for our pets continued to be top notch; that was until we had a recent out of hours emergency. The practice provides an out of hours service via NowVets; the nearest was Salisbury an hours drive away.Having gone through the usual telephone call handler triage we drove a hour with a cat in extreme pain and distress to the site. In fairness they were swift and provided pain relief prior to ultimately putting her down. Our cat was 16 years with us she was family yet she had to suffer avoidable pain because of the clinical large group profit minded services available. Lesson learnt we have now gone to a local independent provider with local emergency out of hours help. Check what you expect out of hours

I took my springer in following a couple of wasp stings, which caused a lot of swelling. They fitted us in just in time and couldn’t have been lovelier. I left feeling reassured and with a much more comfortable (although very subdued) spaniel. Sophie was so kind - both to me and my pup. Would recommend Shreen vets in a heartbeat.

We have used other vets and none are as lovely as Shreen. From reception to vets everyone is lovely, kind and understanding to your pets individual needs. They listen to pet parents and give the best treatment for your individual pet. I have a beautiful ginger cat who hates taking drugs as my scratched hand confirmed, I was offered an injection for him without question.

An amazing practice, receptionist are always very welcoming and will make a fuss of your animal. The nurses are so good at explaining everything you need to know and reassuring you when needed. Will always recommend this vets

Sad day today had to have my lovely cat Missy put to sleep❤️ could not of asked for a kinda vet and was not rushed and had time to share with her the last moments, thankyou meant so much to me , made me feel like I was doing the best thing for her xx
