The staff team are lovely. Just feels like the prices have shot up since the parent company took them over.

As always, Fern Cottage have provided exceptional care for my zoo of animals, but today I recieved care beyond my high expectations. After an emergency yesterday (of course I was 400 miles away) I had used a local emergency vet for my dogs after an accident - 2 large dog injuries, one head related. I called Fern Cottage and they had me booked in 1st thing next morning for an appointment for my GSD. Then I cheekily asked for them on the day to see to my other dog due to a rise in concern. They had then both in same consultation immediately. The Vet - Raquel - I highly rate, she has no fear of 50kg+ dogs who display discomfort and pain. She tended to my dogs with care and compassion as she always has. Understanding of large breed dogs is something I really value, they have bad rep on good days let alone on their worst days!! My dogs were both seen, administered treatments and ive been given a fountain of advice to follow, and reassurance they can see them urgently should anything head south. Thank you for your urgency, the extended time you provided in consultation, and reasonable pricing. My dogs are doing great and I feel reassured that they have both been seen with health plans to follow. Thank you Louise (Receptionist) for the hours you dedicate dispensing the medications, flea & wormers for my small zoo. She is thorough and checks every packet is 1000% correct before handing them over. Thank you all 🐾

I would like to thank Requel, Reneta and Claudia for the attentive, caring and skillful service. My female dog Mika has had a traumatic 6 days but I hope we have turned the corner. All 3 veterinary surgeons were amazing, and there caring for Mika really shone through when treating her. Francis you should be proud to have these ladies on your staff, look after them they are invaluable. Vince , Mika's dad.

Recently took my elderly lady (cat) for a med check as well as blood pressure/tests as she has some health issues which are normal for a 20yr old cat. She is not fond of the vets nor anything to be honest and the vets/nurses were brilliant with her. They were patient, kind and kept me informed. I left the vets in the early afternoon and had a call later that same day with the blood results. Wonderful service as always & special thanks to Reneta for being so polite and informative!!
