#3 Vet in Tonbridge, Kent
Priory Lodge Vets is described on its website as an independent, employee-owned small animal practice and notes B‑Corp certification. It treats dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals, and states it handles its own out‑of‑hours work so clients “see a familiar face.” Reviews most often talk about calm handling for anxious pets (including using treats and taking time), clear explanations (including using a model to explain an ear infection), and a decision-making style some owners describe as not pushing extra procedures. One recent review reports a serious adverse outcome following a routine spay and describes aftercare as “significantly poor,” which sits in clear contrast to other recent reviews praising the team’s support and communication.

Priory Lodge have been our vets for many many years. All the vets are knowlegable, experienced and caring. As always very kind and concerned care from Ruth today in trying to decipher my cats vague but concerning symptoms. Great care taken to explain everything.

My young dog died following routine spay at this practice. The aftercare was significantly poor and clumsy at best.

Very happy with the service & outcome. Felt the vet took our cat’s age, diagnosis etc into consideration & did not push procedures that had been mentioned.

Wonderful receptionists who are always very welcoming and friendly, always happy and willing to help. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. They couldn’t have treat my baby any better and even gave her a licky treat when she was scared. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Another stress free visit to the vet with Frank and Ava, as usual my Labrador bounded in and swept the floor with his waggy tail, he loves his visits and the staff who make a fuss of him, Ava is a nervous rescue and is not a fan but, Dirk and the staff were fabulous with her, and me. Thank you Priory Lodge, professional and caring, as always. I would highly recomend your practice. 😃

Kingsley the sensitive Saluki could not have been in safer hands on our last visit to Priory Lodge . Feeling apprehensive, that’s me & Kingsley twitchy we entered not into the house of doom , but a caring , safe environment whilst Kingsley had his ears checked ( he hates having his ears touched ) Mr Dirk Brink & his assistant were firm, kind and patient. I particularly appreciated being shown a model structure of a dog’s ear & the explanation about the cause of infection.Thank you team for easing the apprehension & being just brilliant !

Fantastic, from the initial phone call to the diagnosis, & treatment, they were helpful, efficent, & so friendly. We took in a very poorly ferret, who we were not sure would make it through the previous night. After their brilliant care he is back to being our little monster in less than 24 hours. Everyone we met, & there were loads who just had to come & see a cuddly ferret, were super friendly & enthusiastic. While we hope not to have to use them too often, it's lovely to know they are there should/when we need to use their services again.
