Margate PDSA Pet Clinic is part of the PDSA charity and is set up to provide free and low‑cost veterinary care for pets in need (including paid treatment at reduced cost, as described by reviewers). In recent reviews, owners mention surgical care with same‑day discharge (“operation… out the same day”), longer-term treatment for conditions like arthritis, and support through complex orthopaedic issues (cruciate ligament injuries) and end‑of‑life care. A minority of feedback raises a practical access issue: one reviewer says they were refused help due to an “out of area” rule.
4.6 stars from 571 reviews. The latest reviews available to us include both detailed care experiences and a complaint about access rules. “”

Always very helpful and caring with my animals. Such fair prices but still top quality care. They are also a charity so rely off donations so if you can ever spare extra please do as it all goes straight back to helping animals. Thank you to all staff

Friendly and helpful. Looked after our cat for her operation, she was well treated and everything went smoothly. She was out the same day and no issues. Recommended!

They have provided exceptional care for Poppy. Sadly, after havung several medical issues and at nearly 14 years of age, her life came to a peaceful end. Throughout Poppy's life, she required many visits to the PDSA after injuries to her cruciate ligament. The care provided has always been excellent Thank you for the care you provided to Poppy and for the excellent service you have rendered..

Absolutely lovely, for a charity vets they do a fantastic job. They are treating my staffie for arthritis. People expect things to much in this country. Be lucky we have a charity willing to help your pet. If you don't like what they say then go private. 😑

Really caring receptionists. Very thankful for the service. I paid full price but it is still much cheaper than every vets in Thanet and a life saver for our little souls when we, there guardians are not in work. Thank you for all you do PDSA and everyone who donates to the charity.
