Kings Hill Veterinary Clinic is a veterinary practice that’s also listed as a Veterinary Nurse Training facility. From the latest reviews available to us, it appears set up for general small-animal care, including managing ongoing conditions (ear allergies) and serious illness, and it has been involved in end-of-life care (euthanasia). Review experiences are mixed: some owners describe supportive care and thoughtful follow-up (including a condolence card after a pet was put to sleep), while others report refusals around appointments/services (e.g., not providing repeat ear treatment without a new appointment; allegedly refusing to scan a cat for a microchip) and front-desk/booking issues (overbooking, disagreements over what was booked).

I have been previously to get my dog treated for this ear allergy she has £150 per appointment and treatment!! However when I called to see if I can just get the treatment for her ear as it’s the same chronic condition they will not help without an appointment so they clearly care more about making money than helping animals. Definitely won’t be using again

How disgusting of this vet to refuse to scan a cat for a chip! Every vet has a duty if care, but clearly you only interested in making money and don’t actually care about animals!

I have found this clinic to be very helpful, both with advice and with dealing with our pets when in some cases seriously ill. Again excellent service a few years later.

Awful service. This happened a while back my partner took our dog in for a haematoma, I booked the appointment with the receptionist and explained my dog needed it drained they quoted me 80.00 that’s fine so my partner takes my dog and he returns with our dog the same as he took him but they had still charged 80.00. I rang the receptionist she was quite rude and hung up on me and explained the charge is valid and we couldn’t drain the ear as our dog was agressive, he’s not aggressive but he was in pain with his ear and they didn’t have a muzzle for a flat faced breed wouldn’t let my partner in to help. I went down there to talk to the manager and was greeted by Laura the main vet and the receptionist quite hostile I recorded it I stayed calm and notified I’m recording the conversation not recording them. They called the police and wouldn’t let me speak to the manager. They refused to refund me the police tried to help get my money back but they wouldn’t. I went to Ashmore vets the following day and they drained my dogs ear for 40.00 with no issues. I used kings bill vets for my puppies as I breed, also for my customers as I run a dog walking business and have never been treated so awfully ever. I used to recommend loads of business their way but I will never use them again. The worst thing is Laura the main vet knew me so did the receptionist zero customer service. Manager never got in touch either! Awful service I never leave bad reviews either but my experience was awful and left me quite upset.

They have been absolutely fantastic while dealing with our sick cat. In the end she had to be put down and all the staff have been lovely throughout her treatment. Came home today to a card in the post from the vets saying they were thinking of us and sorry for our loss. 100% wouldn't go anywhere else, treated the cat with the utmost kindness and gave her an extra few comfortable months with their treatment plan.

Have now had two very bad experiences with this practice, both involving appointments. The first I put down to bad luck and moved on when I made an appointment for two pets to be seen at the same time, only to arrive to be told they only had one appointment. They were rude and aggressive, blaming me for the situation, even though I had specifically told them about both pets After the second incident I will now be looking for a new vet. Made an appointment for my dog who was bleeding, only to be phoned 1/2 hour before the appointment to say that they’d overbooked and couldn’t see him! No apology whatsoever, refused to see my dog, making an appointment 24 hours later! Again, very rude when the issue was their inefficiency. They all need a course in customer service! Will never go back with any of my beloved pets and will tell all my friends to avoid like the plague.
