Bourne Veterinary Practice provides care for cats, dogs and small pets, with in-house options that go beyond routine appointments (hydrotherapy and acupuncture are both listed on its website). Reviews repeatedly mention practical, pet-specific handling and follow-through—such as making special arrangements for a fearful dog (including giving an injection while the owner sat outside with the dog on their lap) and ongoing hydrotherapy support after a dog’s leg amputation to rebuild strength and confidence. Owners also mention the practice proactively booking appointments when needed and being “usually running on time”.

Amazing vets, proactively booking appointments when needed, the vets and vet nurses are very very friendly and helpful, they are usually running on time which is very unusual based on previous vets I have been to. I'm always happy to visit and have them looking after my animals

Since my Greyhound had his leg removed, Nichola from the Hydro team had been looking after him. She has done an amazing job, he has not only got his strength back, but has gained his confidence and his fun for for life back. Highly recommend I can't thank the team enough for all they have done for my boy.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always so accommodating and helpful. Our little dog Jenkins loves the vets here and is never nervous to go inside!

All the staff here offer a very friendly, welcoming approach. Our dog is very scared at the vets and special arrangements have been made to make it easier for her to cope - including having an injection whilst sat outside on my lap! I cannot recommend Bourne Vets highly enough.

We thought long and hard about which veterinary practice to choose when we got our cat. We ended up with a shortlist of two but have never once looked back after opting for Bourne. Not only did they save our cat's life when he suddenly developed an abscess, but every routine consultation has been excellent, with care and attention at every point from a kind, decent and above all professional team people who obviously are deeply committed to what they do. Also, there is a special cat clinic and the practice is beautifully located into the bargain. A real find and a gem and we would not now go anywhere else.

All the staff are so friendly and kind hearted. Taylor in particular was so patient when I called to talk about my poorly pooch. Very efficient service, very considerate and clearly a vet to put your pets first. I'm glad I moved to them and appreciate the honesty and care we have received
