cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary clinic. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with kindness, patience, and genuine care. The staff is incredibly welcoming and clearly loves what they do—and it shows in how they treat both pets and their humans. The veterinarians take the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer questions without rushing, and make sure you feel confident about your pet’s care. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond. My pet was handled so gently and with such respect that it immediately put me at ease. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and efficiently run, yet never feels impersonal. It’s rare to find a place where professionalism and heartfelt care coexist so seamlessly. I fully trust this team with my pet’s health and would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who treats your animal like family.

We moved to Beacon View a year ago after a very upsetting series of mistakes at another practice. Sadly, my dog Shelley did die, but the care she received in her final weeks at Beacon View made an enormous difference. She was genuinely looked after, and I felt supported through the whole experience. I still have two elderly dogs, Mr Woo and Eryk, and after having eight dogs and fosters over 20 years and using most of the local vets, I can honestly say Beacon View is the best practice we’ve ever been to. They are not more expensive than other vets, in fact, they often resolve issues faster, which makes their care more cost effective. They are completely transparent with pricing: everything is broken down clearly, they tell you costs upfront before any decisions are made, and they email the full price breakdown after each visit. They even have their price list available on their website. Every member of staff is genuinely lovely. The consultations are longer and never feel rushed. The vets come down to floor level, which puts the animals at ease, and the rooms are comfortable with sofas. The waiting area is calm, with a separate cat section, which makes a big difference. The care, professionalism, and environment at Beacon View are far superior to any other vets we’ve used locally. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.

Beacon View staff are always friendly caring and compassionate. The appointments are never rushed. It is easy to park and a stress free environment with lovely staff. They helped us say goodbye to our beloved Twig with so much care and support. We are pleased to introduce our Buddy a mini long haired dachshund to them and know he will be in safe caring hands for many years to come. Thank you x

My cat, Albert is a new patient with Beacon View and unfortunately his first appointment with them was because he was poorly. He had further appointments while investigations were carried out and I cannot fault any of the staff or the service. Every member of staff I interacted with, either in person or telephone; vets, nurses or reception were incredibly helpful, kind, supportive and understanding. Albert does not like the vets but they gave him the space and time to adjust during the appointments. Outside of the appointments, I still had concerns and I called up a few times. My calls were returned by the vets and guidance was given. They have not only supported Albert with his recovery but they have also supported me with their level of care and commitment to getting him better; keeping me informed at all times. I have found them to be proactive in supporting Albert in the best way to avoid upsetting him further when he finds it so stressful. I would recommend Beacon View to everyone and they do not compare to vets Albert has been with before. I find it incredibly upsetting when Albert is not well, but I feel reassured knowing he is their patient. I just wish I had know about Beacon View sooner so I could have registered Albert there a long time ago

took my dog Teddy to beacon view vets today, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care he received. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, compassionate, and attentive, making both Teddy and me feel at ease during what was a stressful day. The vets took the time to carefully examine Teddy, explain his condition, and discuss the best course of action. Their professionalism, patience, and clear communication were outstanding—they answered all my questions and reassured me when I was worried. Teddy has heart disease, and today there were concerns about his breathing and possible pneumonia. The team handled everything with skill and genuine care, ensuring he was comfortable and well-monitored. I also appreciated the practical advice for at-home care and what to watch for in the coming days. I am incredibly grateful to beacon view vets for their dedication and compassion. They go above and beyond for their patients, and I know Teddy was in the best possible hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a vet who truly cares.

Such a fantastic practice a world apart from others we have used over the years for our pets. The Rolls-Royce of veterinary practices. Good at explaining the ramifications of Buster’s conditions and the prognosis. Excellent. And then the vet Claire was her usual highly observational and helpful self, and supported me and Buster completely. Always a pleasure.
