Get regular reminders for prescriptions and upcoming appointments for our Labrador Betsy. 6-monthly health checks are very thorough and she gets checked over again when she has her annual vaccination.

My dog’s recent annual check-over was carried out with considerable care and pleasing enthusiasm by the vet. My dog was treated with both respect and total consideration. All of my questions were dealt with effectively and with clarity. I departed feeling very reassured my dog was in both very safe hands and my interests as an owner had been calmly and thoroughly met. In previous years the receptionist was different and seemed unwelcoming to me , but today's receptionist was very personable and entirely welcoming.

I would like to thank Barrow hill Vets in Hythe for all the care and attention they have shown to our two lovely German Shepherds over the last ten years. From the reception staff to all the lovely vets, the team has been wonderful. As they know, we have lost both of our family dogs, Blaze and Blue, in the last four weeks. We are absolutely heartbroken, but knowing that the staff cared so much for our fur babies meant a lot to us both. Highly recommend this team. – Jake and Sharon Sackett

Very happy that I was able to get an urgent appointment for my cat who was in a lot of pain, receptionist has a lovely caring attitude and was very knowledgable. My cats pain subsided very quickly after returning home and the medication is working well thanks to Jacob’s quick diagnosis that her pain was due to a dental issue.

We have been going to Barrow Hill for roughly 8 years. Only on one occasion, they didn’t have an appointment but booked us into Ashford to be seen instead. Every time we went, my lovely cat Nishka always had a thorough check up. I was always given plenty of information to make informed decisions and move forward with my cat’s health and wellbeing. Sadly, last week we had to put Nishka to sleep. Alison (the vet) was unbelievably kind and explained everything before hand. She made the whole experience calm and peaceful for my cat and me. Thank you for your kindness and compassion
