Just had a quote to clean one of our cats teeth - £771. I called another vets locally and was quoted £250. It has become very expensive now so we’ve moved our cats elsewhere for their care.

Update... I would like to thank everyone at Animal House for everything they have done for my furkids over the years! But for my staffie boy Gus I want to give special thanks to Jeremy who was a huge part of our journey for a number of years and through my boys diagnosis of CDRM! The support and understanding he showed a staffie with behavioural issues right up untill the day (2 July 2025) he came out to the house and helped me to send Gus on his way across the rainbow bridge to be with his brother and sisters was second to none and I will be forever grateful for such an amazing human! I Took my cat (Bug) to see the vet yesterday for a quick check up after signing her up to the pet health plan and she was great with my Cat x for the most part we always have a good experience with the dogs, Dr Stephanie was amazing with my old staffie (Bailey) when i had to make the decision to put her to sleep during lockdown 2020! Jeremy is always understanding with my reactive Male staffie (Gus) we did have one bad visit when the female vet at the time suggested i get some training for my dogs behaviour as he wouldn't let her touch him apparently he tried to bite her even though i handed over his muzzle to use and made her aware he is dog reactive and doesn't like the vet at all! He reacts the way he does because he is stressed not because he is a bad boy! But i didnt hold that visit against everyone else who are always friendly and dont seem fased by my twatstick reactive boy x

I cannot thank Animal House Vet enough for the love, compassion, kindness, respect & professionalism that they showed me & my perfect little Willow, 🦁 now sadly deceased Tuesday October 7th. 😭💔😭 I hated & mistrusted Vets due to neglect, cruelty & appalling behaviour from my former Vet in Folkestone 😱🤬🤮 - (Corroborated by other Google reviews.) And the sheer incompetence of a 2nd Vet in Folkestone. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So, I was very nervous & very cynical to start with at AHV. When Willow started having seizures 6 months ago, I was blessed to be allocated Debbie Eske 💞 An actual angel!! 😇 Who I trust and respect 💯 Her recommendation of a holistic supplement Nutramarin gave Willow several months seizure free, and side effect free as soon as I put her on them!! 🦁 By a stroke of divine luck, I had tried Willow (An indoor rescue cat) on a harness & lead, and bless her, she trotted STRAIGHT OUT thru the Catio into the garden the very first try!! 💞🪴💞 And spent the summer blissing in the garden! Willow rapidly, out of nowhere, went downhill on my Birthday weekend. 😭💔😭 I’m soo thankful Debbie was there to help my baby girl grow her angel wings with love, kindness, compassion and respect. I can’t thank you enough Debbie!! 🥹 And Rachel Russell too. Who I also respected & trusted 💯 ThanQ for setting up Vidivet that I used several times and found them quick & very helpful. Great vets! They were very understanding of having to reschedule with a very nervous cat, and the actual appointment was really quick and easy. Would highly recommend.

I've been taking my various beasts to Animal House for about five years, and I haven't had a bad experience. I've had mostly older cats, and when difficult end-of-life decisions have to be made they've been helpful and compassionate. The staff remember you and your animals- it feels like a friendly, caring place. They also have their own blood lab, so you don't have to wait an age for important results.

I had to put my dog down on the 7th July due to cancer even though I was given a diagnosis on the 5th for gastroenteritis. I called today the 15th to find out where my dogs ashes are and was told he is still in cold storage because the message never got past over that I had already paid on the 8th. My dog has been in cold storage for 8 days due to lack of communication.

Our cat had a little accident in the garden today, my wife called around and animal house were very quick to set an emergency appointment for her, the vet was very nice and checked our little fur baby over, her little hand had swollen, she said it could be a sprain but she seems to be baring her weight well, gave her an anti inflammatory injection / pain relief, and prescribed some oral ones, sent us on our way. Within an hour the swelling has gone down and she's back out in the garden causing mischief once again lol. Highly recommend these guys. Thank you.
