We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful vets Tim,Laura and staff for the exceptional care & compassion he showed to our beloved Hattie our Shetland Sheepdog.Hattie was part of our family for 14 wonderful years & for the last 3 years she was under the care of Tim.From the begining he treated Hattie with such kindness,patience & genuine affection.His care for her was exemplary & we always felt that she was in the very best hands.Sadly on Monday 17th,we had to make the hearbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beautiful girl.It was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do,but Tim was tgere for us with such understanding,gentleness & compassion.He made an incredibly painful moment as peaceful & dignified as possible for Hattie & for us.It is difficult to put into words how much that meant to our family,knowing that Hattias treated with such love & respect right to the very end is something we will always be grateful for.We would like to thank Tim,Laura & all the lovely staff at Bobbing Hill,not only the care they gave Hattie over the last 3 years, but also the kindness they showed to us as her family.It takes a very special person to care for both animals & their owners with such compassion & we feel extremely fortunate that Hattie had Tim looking after her.Hattie will be deeply missed & will always hold a very special place in our hearts.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for our beautiful girl.With our heartfelt gratitude,Michelle,Richard,Leah & Sophie Fielding in loving memory of Hattie.
After reading so many wonderful reviews, I decided to swap my dog Delila over to Bobbing Hill Vets in June and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we’ve made.
From the moment I walked through the door for our very first appointment I knew we’d found the right practice. The lovely receptionist took the time to show us around, explain the Bobbing Hill Pet Plan (which Delila is now very happily a member of!) and made us both feel so welcome. That first impression really set the tone for every visit since. We had the wonderful Tim who truly took the time in our appointment to discuss and understand my dog.
My Delila has since undergone surgery with the team, and throughout the whole process they have always put her needs first. Their orthopaedic surgeon comes into the practice to perform surgery meaning Delila could stay in a familiar environment rather than being referred elsewhere. As an owner of a dog who finds being left in new environment difficult this gave me so much reassurance.
Both Tim and the orthopaedic surgeon took the time to explain every option available to us answering all of my many questions (there were definitely a lot! 😂) without ever making me feel rushed or like I was being a bother. We decided surgery was the best option for Delila and I felt completely supported throughout.
Since then, the whole team have been incredible. From photo updates after surgery, dressing changes and stitch removal to checking in after surgery and always being there to answer every question ( again the many I have had in person and over call ) they’ve gone above and beyond for both Delila and me.
The practice itself is also fantastic. The facilities are excellent and the kennels are truly state of the art. Seeing them before Delila’s surgery really helped ease my worries about leaving her. The waiting area is calm and welcoming with refreshments, a customer toilet and even a little shop of goodies for dogs who have been especially brave.
You can genuinely see that every decision they make is centred around the care, comfort and wellbeing of the animals they treat. I honestly can’t thank everyone at Bobbing Hill Vets enough for everything they’ve done for Delila. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful team and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary practice that truly goes above and beyond.❤️
This is great my 2 dogs go here when needed and they do good pet plans staff are great u have coffee machine
When your dog is seriously ill you need a vets in whom you can put your trust and depend upon. The knowledge, kindness and care demonstrated this week to my dog (and myself) exemplifies Bobbin Hill Vets. He's now well on the road to recovery and we look forward to many more walks and times together.

We recently moved from our previous vets, which is now a corporate-owned company, and choosing this family-run veterinary practice was absolutely the right decision. Teddy and Lexi both visited for a health check and dental surgery, and the care they received was exceptional.
Everything was explained clearly and calmly, with plenty of time given to ask questions, which was very reassuring. The vets are highly skilled with years of experience, and this is reflected in the confidence and professionalism of the entire team. All the staff are knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely care about the animals.
The dental procedures went smoothly, and I was kept well informed before and after. Teddy and Lexi were calm and comfortable when I collected them, which really speaks volumes about the level of care provided.
I wouldn’t trust my pets anywhere else—highly recommended.

We got our pepper ( dog ) 🐶 and she was a very ill puppy we panicked and rushed her to bobbing hill vets with Tim and him amazing team
Within 2 days some days got pepper back on our paws 🐾 running about and being a big part of our family
Year on we back because pepper found the dam chocolate under the Christmas tree and so rushed again ... The team love pepper

Have to say this is the best vet we have encountered. We brought our Maggie in on Friday (14th Nov.) We are not local but we were staying in our chalet in Leysdown.. Maggie had gone downhill rapidly and we knew it was time. The lovely receptionist took us into a room and got the manager who treated us with care and compassion, registered us and then offered us a drink..a few minutes later Simon the vet came in, examined Maggie and confirmed our worst fears. He talked us through the process, prepared Maggie and then done what had to be done. He left us for quite a while so we could say our goodbyes and then came in and we decided it was time to go. We picked Maggie up this afternoon ( 17th Nov ) along with a card from the vet, paw and nose prints, forget me knot seeds to plant and a capsule of hair from Maggie. We as a family want to thank you all for your care, compassion and professionalism that we received over this weekend..love The Purll Family
Cannot praise Tim & his team @ Bobbing Hill Veterinary Surgery highly enough. They took great care of my poorly leonberger, Esra, when she had to have an urgent & potentially complicated operation. Brilliant throughout, no messing. Thank you all SO much. Love from Sue & Esra xxx
