Lovely staff. Very empathetic, kind and gentle, and when I took my elderly cat there recently Jack, the vet, took his time to explain everything and gave me an estimate of costs.

Great response to my call, late on a Friday afternoon. My cat had become ill throughout the day and I was concerned with the approach to a weekend. The receptionist listened attentively and asked sensible questions before consulting a colleague. I was advised to bring my cat to the surgery. On arrival he was taken for assessment. The vet talked me through options to find out the cause of his symptoms. One was a very expensive blood test (£170 ! 😮) which I authorised, the results were quick which I presume was why it cost so much. Although it wasn’t possible to get a definitive diagnosis, I was given some medication to administer at home, as well as injections at the surgery. I was also given follow up advice regarding vet availability for the following day. All in all, a prompt and efficient service. The only reason for dropping one star is because of the expense of this service as it cost me over £300 in total and I am still reeling from the shock!

The staff at Medivet Birchington are always warm and friendly. Our cat Oscar was very comfortable during his 6 monthly examination which was thorough and caring. He had a tough six months from December to May this year having undergone two surgeries and his marvellous recovery was due in large part to the care and attention given to him by the vets, nurse and staff at Medivet Birchington.

Staff is very friendly and efficient. Vet was excellent and explained everything very well.. First time going in there, but will definitely make this our pet's vet.

This practice has been fantastic, if busy they will always assist with booking into their Minster location, if you can request a vet Jack Conway is a must, Jack is so personable, he is amazing with our young dog Max, Jack is so patient and friendly and very helpful with great advice, Jack is an asset to the practice.
